Horizon Vmware Client For Mac

Please follow the below instructions to install the VMWare Horizon Client for Mac.

• Vmware Horizon Client For Macos 10.10

• VMware Horizon Client for Windows 10 UWP makes it easy to work on your VMware Horizon virtual desktop and hosted applications from a wide variety of Windows 10 devices, giving you on-the-go access from any location. IMPORTANT NOTE: A VMware Horizon virtual desktop or hosted application is required to use the VMware Horizon Client for Windows 10.
• 4) Look for ' VMWare Horizon Client for Mac' and then click 'Go to downloads' 5) This should redirect you download the Horizon Client for macOS download. 6) Now click the download button; The installation file will begin to download in the background.

To find the release notes, user guide, and installation and setup guide for your Horizon Client for Mac version, locate the version in the table of contents on the left.

1. 1. Download the VMWare Horizon Client installer For Mac OS 10.12 – 10.15 by clicking here.
      Mac OS versions older than 10.12 are not supported.
   2. Double click on the VMware Horizon Client.dmg file to begin the install.
      
   3. Click “Agree” in the user license agreement window that appears.
      
   4. When the VMWare Horizon Client window appears, drag the “VMWare Horizon Client icon to the Applications folder.
      
   5. The first time you launch the VMWare Horizon Client, you may see a security popup asking if you want to open the file. Click the “Open” button.
      
   6. Follow these linked instructions to log in to VDI with 2-Step Verification (2SV).

Installing the VMWare Horizon View Client on a College machine. Open the Software Center. For instructions on accessing the Software Center see the Knowledge Base article: Accessing the Software Center; Select VMWare Horizon View Client from the applications list. Click the Install button. This button is located in the lower right hand corner.

VDI requires a modern laptop, PC, or tablet.
In general most laptops that are less than 4 years old will run the VDI client without an issue. More detailed laptop requirements can be found in our student guide.
